For the past year and a half, I traveled to every city square in Georgia, USA. My goal was to seek out and film each individual city square to create a massive picture compilation that will blow the mind of just about anyone who lives here.
You will not believe just how vast and versatile this state actually is. From mountain towns, historic city squares, unique architecture, hidden gems, coastal towns, lively towns, ghost towns, college towns, a previous president’s town, city squares with historic landmarks, and even an all-german town.
After viewing this article or watching the video, you’ll probably feel confused as to how much is out there and hopefully inspired to visit a few new places.
Now to be clear, regardless of the size, many cities don’t have a city center at all. That being said, don’t be alarmed if mid-size city Warner Robbins or small-town Emerson isn’t on the list. However, other small town squares had just enough historic remainings to make the list.
I found a total of 373 city squares in this state and compiled them in alphabetical order. However, one single city (suwanee) has 2 squares one of them modern and the other the historic town center.
